Salary: $163,000–$204,000 annually in Orange, CT; $149,000–$185,000 annually in Rochester, Binghamton, Augusta, and Portland.

What you will do

  • Develop analyses, business processes, and regulatory strategies related to transmission revenue requirements.
  • Prepare and defend annual transmission revenue requirement filings for transmission operations in ISO-NE.
  • Populate settled formula rate templates, respond to discovery requests, and help resolve filing challenges.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and provide senior management with financial impact analyses and recommendations.
  • Oversee transmission billing for UI and CMP, including customer bills and agreements with new customers.
  • Support FERC orders, compliance filings, transmission cost recovery, budgeting, employee training, and functional supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong financial accounting, analytical, organizational, critical-thinking, decision-making, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of OpCo business processes.
  • Background in FERC ratemaking.
