Senior Inkjet Applications Engineer / Manager (Inkjet Dispersion Technologies)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with Monday and Friday remote work and Tuesday–Thursday in the office.

Salary: $148,200–$214,900 annually, plus annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as the customer-facing technical expert for hirify.global’s inkjet dispersion technologies in the Americas.
• Lead technical discovery, translate customer performance requirements into ink and dispersion solutions, and coordinate related R&D plans.
• Conduct customer visits, trials, evaluations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving activities with Sales.
• Lead rapid-turnaround laboratory projects for product troubleshooting and ink or dispersion prototyping.
• Manage technical complaints, field inquiries, product or process changes, documentation, application guidance, and customer training materials.
• Provide leadership and coaching to one or a small number of laboratory technicians while collaborating with Quality, Production, R&D, Sales, and Marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree.
• 10+ years of technical experience, including inkjet ink formulation; dispersion science and inkjet systems application engineering are preferred.
• Knowledge of dispersion and ink formulation across desktop, office, industrial, and packaging printing applications.
• Experience building long-term customer relationships around technical ink problem-solving and requirements discovery.
• Ability to communicate complex technical data clearly and concisely to varied audiences, including on commercially sensitive topics.
• Ability to apply multiple specializations to identify causes and solutions for complex fluid-performance problems.
