What you will do
- Lead and coach Investment Advisors and supporting branch employees to achieve sales, service, and performance objectives.
- Build client relationships, improve client satisfaction, and connect clients with the appropriate wealth management partners.
- Collaborate with internal business lines and community partners to identify opportunities, grow the branch, and strengthen its market profile.
- Develop employees through coaching, mentoring, job shadowing, special projects, and training.
- Oversee branch operations, client complaint resolution, compliance, governance, and risk management.
- Execute strategic initiatives related to sustainable growth, succession planning, talent acquisition, and staff development.
Requirements
- Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization Investment Dealer.
- Branch Managers Examination Course, Wealth Management Essentials, Certified Financial Planner, and Certified Investment Manager accreditations are required for supervisory registration.
- Experience in sales management, advisory coaching, retail brokerage, financial products, and delivering financial advice through a high-performing team.
- Strong leadership, people management, coaching, relationship-building, business development, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complexity, concurrent priorities, strategic initiatives, regulatory controls, and operational risks.
- Fluency in both French and English is required to serve clients in the community.
