Associate Branch Manager, Wood Gundy-Bilingual (Wealth Management)

Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada. The work arrangement and proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead and coach Investment Advisors and supporting branch employees to achieve sales, service, and performance objectives.
• Build client relationships, improve client satisfaction, and connect clients with the appropriate hirify.global wealth management partners.
• Collaborate with internal business lines and community partners to identify opportunities, grow the branch, and strengthen its market profile.
• Develop employees through coaching, mentoring, job shadowing, special projects, and training.
• Oversee branch operations, client complaint resolution, compliance, governance, and risk management.
• Execute strategic initiatives related to sustainable growth, succession planning, talent acquisition, and staff development.

Requirements

• Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization Investment Dealer.
• Branch Managers Examination Course, Wealth Management Essentials, Certified Financial Planner, and Certified Investment Manager accreditations are required for supervisory registration.
• Experience in sales management, advisory coaching, retail brokerage, financial products, and delivering financial advice through a high-performing team.
• Strong leadership, people management, coaching, relationship-building, business development, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complexity, concurrent priorities, strategic initiatives, regulatory controls, and operational risks.
• Fluency in both French and English is required to serve clients in the community.
