What you will do
- Lead, schedule, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel across multiple departments.
- Oversee daily laboratory, quality, logistics, and management operations.
- Manage budgets, capital expenses, operating costs, revenue, profit, and monthly performance indicators.
- Ensure technical quality, documentation, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
- Build relationships with clients, industry officials, corporate partners, and peer business units.
- Support major technical proposals, quotations, marketing strategies, investments, and business expansion plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent directly related experience; an MS or PhD is preferred.
- At least 10 years of supervisory experience and 10 years of professional laboratory operations experience.
- At least 5 years of laboratory operations or large, multid department/team leadership experience with $5M+ net sales or equivalent operational accountability.
- Experience improving operational, profitability, quality, and safety performance.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations, data analysis, financial statements, budgets, and relevant EPA, DOT, OSHA, and DOL regulations.
- Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship. Professional working proficiency in English is required.
