Metal Fabricator (MIG/TIG Welding)

What you will do

• Fabricate, weld, and assemble sheet metal and mechanical components using blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding in accordance with applicable ASME codes and standards.
• Operate plasma cutters, press brakes, machining equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Use calipers and tape measures to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Perform pipe threading, frame and guard manufacturing, rigging, and mechanical assembly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment while collaborating on fabrication projects.

Requirements

• Hands-on manufacturing, welding, and metal fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of ASME welding and fabrication codes and standards.
• Mechanical knowledge covering pipe threading, rigging, assembly, and fabrication calculations.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and follow workplace safety procedures.

Nice to have

• Sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Machining experience.
• Industrial maintenance experience.
