Streaming Content Producer (Video Production)

hirify.global is hiring for WBRE/WYOU to produce and manage streaming content across digital platforms.

What you will do

• Create and optimize video content for broadcast television, websites, social media, connected television apps, and YouTube.
• Schedule connected television app programming and build engaging content blocks.
• Manage YouTube programming strategy to grow audience size and loyalty.
• Organize source materials into multimedia pieces and aggregated video streams.
• Assist with live streams covering breaking news, daily events, and pre-planned programming.
• Book and produce virtual and in-person guest interviews.

Requirements

• Degree in journalism, video production, or a related media content management field.
• Experience producing streaming and social video content.
• Understanding of digital platforms, trends, and audience behavior.
• Knowledge of WordPress, OBS/vMix, Akta, or similar digital content management systems.
• Strong writing and editorial skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Availability to adjust the schedule for major and breaking news events.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in a local newsroom.
