TL;DR
Freight Controller (Logistics): Controlling and analyzing inbound and outbound freight costs for European freight operations with an accent on KPI reporting, claims management, compliance, and cost optimization. Focus on building 3PL and 4PL relationships, driving continuous improvement projects, and supporting transportation operations across regional teams.
Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work with the option to work from home 3–4 days per week.

’s Budapest Shared Service Center manages and improves European freight operations while supporting international teams and customer service.
What you will do
- Control and analyze inbound and outbound freight costs.
- Monitor and report freight KPIs covering safety, delivery, quality, and cost.
- Handle freight claims reporting and support initiatives to minimize damages.
- Build strong working relationships with 3PL and 4PL providers.
- Support internal teams with transportation and logistics topics.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or planning.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Excel proficiency and strong numerical skills.
- Fluent English is required.
- Financial background or knowledge is advantageous.
- Previous experience as a Freight Controller or with freight claims handling and reporting is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma.
- Experience with Medius, Roseta, or M3; prior experience is not required because training is provided.
