What you will do
- Lead high-visibility data and analytics projects and resolve issues of strategic importance.
- Build and maintain complex statistical routines, models, forecasting tools, databases, reports, and monitoring systems.
- Test and maintain data integrity across SAS, DB2, VSAM, Adobe, Excel, and COBOL-related data environments.
- Define outcomes and process measures for population measurement, guideline implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop research plans, interpret analyses, formulate implementation plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Collaborate with IT, outside partners, physicians, clients, and senior management while providing technical and project leadership.
Requirements
- At least five years of programming experience in SAS, SQL, VBA, .NET, or an equivalent statistical analytics language.
- At least five years of analytical consulting experience.
- Master’s degree in economics, finance, healthcare administration, public health administration, statistics, mathematics, operations research, or a related field; an equivalent bachelor’s degree plus two additional years of experience may substitute.
- Experience manipulating and interpreting large databases and working with MVS/TSO operating systems.
- Exceptional analytical, critical-thinking, writing, communication, consulting, and teamwork skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with medical practices, population management, and process and outcomes measurement.
