AVP, Patient Access

Salary: $111,800–$160,000 based on experience, plus eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Set Patient Access strategy, policies, and operational standards across assigned clients and markets.
• Provide vision, leadership, and operational oversight for Patient Access functions and senior access leaders.
• Modernize Patient Access through goal setting, metrics reporting, action plans, technology adoption, and process standardization.
• Lead communication, employee engagement, staffing, recruiting, retention, and professional development initiatives.
• Build and manage leadership teams, delegate responsibilities, support cross-training, and collaborate across revenue cycle functions.
• Support budget management, resource planning, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5+ years of Patient Access or revenue cycle experience preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing multiple health systems preferred.
• Experience implementing strategic initiatives and aligning organizational goals with operational execution.
• Advanced AI usage experience, including translating AI into business outcomes and moving teams from experimentation to scale.
• Experience leading diverse teams, managing change, communicating effectively, and applying critical thinking and action planning in healthcare provider finance operations or a similar service environment.
