What you will do
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for Hyperscale and Industrial Projects, balancing value, quality, delivery, and project requirements.
- Develop sourcing strategies and manage tender processes from market engagement through supplier selection, negotiation, and contract award.
- Negotiate supplier pricing, terms, and framework agreements to reduce project costs and improve commercial outcomes.
- Build strategic supplier relationships, monitor performance against KPIs, and drive corrective actions.
- Analyze spend, bills of materials, supplier capacity, lead times, and material availability to identify savings and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Maintain procurement data, support reporting and governance, and lead procurement improvement and transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- CIPS qualification, progress toward CIPS, or an equivalent Procurement/Supply Chain qualification.
- At least three years of experience as a Strategic Buyer, Senior Buyer, or Procurement Specialist.
- Experience with complex sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, tender management, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Strong direct procurement, category management, analytical, stakeholder management, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience delivering measurable cost savings and commercial improvements.
- Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Protean is advantageous.
