Airport Commercial Vehicle Ambassador - Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (Weekend mornings)

Location: Onsite at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Salary: CA$17.47–CA$18.34 per hour

What you will do

• Greet passengers and provide courteous assistance throughout the airport curbside area.
• Direct taxis, rideshare services, shuttles, and other commercial vehicles to designated pickup spaces.
• Monitor the commercial curb, control traffic, and keep unauthorized public vehicles outside commercial operator areas.
• Use technology-equipped vehicles, hardware, and software to track parking availability, license plates, and vehicle authorization.
• Audit and inspect commercial vehicles for compliance with Airport Authority rules and standards.
• Respond to parking equipment service requests, report incidents and safety concerns, and escalate operational issues.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in Canada and provide eligibility documentation.
• At least 18 years of age and holder of a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong customer service, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn airport ground transportation rules and layouts and remain calm in a high-traffic environment.
• Ability to work days, nights, Monday through Sunday, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently enter and exit vehicles, and lift up to 25 lb.
