NSA Bahrain: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Onsite, full-time deployment to NSA Bahrain in Manama, Bahrain

What you will do

• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Prepare and review designs, technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for piping, HVAC, rotating equipment, and structural components.
• Perform stress, thermal, and fluid-flow analyses to validate design integrity and performance.
• Review vendor documents and technical submittals against project requirements and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with electrical, civil, instrumentation, and operations teams while maintaining safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in mechanical design, engineering, or project support.
• Knowledge of engineering standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
• Proficiency with engineering tools, including CAD and simulation software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
