Water/Wastewater Transmission and Utilities Project Manager

Location: Frisco or Dallas, Texas office; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do

• Manage water pump station, wastewater lift station, stormwater pump station, pipeline, and utility infrastructure projects through study, design, and construction.
• Serve as the primary client contact and communicate project status, schedules, decisions, and issues.
• Lead complex studies and investigations, prepare findings reports, and coordinate project phases against scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Provide technical oversight to engineers, technicians, designers, drafters, and field representatives.
• Select equipment and materials, review manufacturer shop drawings, and review calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Advise construction teams and coordinate with agencies, vendors, contractors, and partner firms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
• 6+ years of experience designing water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, and large- and small-diameter pipelines.
• Experience managing projects through study, design, and construction phases.
• Experience leading technical staff and reviewing engineering work for quality and consistency.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience serving as the primary client contact for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, vendors, contractors, and partner firms.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, selecting equipment and materials, and managing or supervising staff.
