Customer Service Representative - Express Scripts - Remote (Pharmacy Benefits)

What you will do

• Answer inbound calls from members, providers, pharmacies, and physician offices about pharmacy benefits, mail-order pharmacy services, and Medicare.
• Update conversion requests, provide shipment status, and facilitate medication transitions to home delivery.
• Contact physician offices to obtain prescriptions, record approval status, and forward prescriptions to pharmacies for fulfillment.
• Resolve questions and issues that may prevent medication shipments while providing empathetic customer support.
• Document all interactions accurately in the appropriate systems to maintain quality and meet regulatory requirements.
• Meet call center quality and productivity standards while navigating multiple applications and screens.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; healthcare or call center experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, organization, written communication, and verbal communication.
• Excellent listening and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and helpful with difficult callers.
• Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, make decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace and cable broadband or fiber internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload are required.
