What you will do
- Provide interim clinical coverage across multiple family practice sites.
- Assist providers, room patients, take vital signs, triage patients, and call in prescriptions.
- Carry out the nursing process in person, by telephone, and through telehealth.
- Assess patient needs, plan and deliver care, and evaluate progress toward care goals.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccines; perform point-of-care testing; and collect and handle specimens.
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other health professionals while educating patients on medications, nutrition, wellness, and self-management.
Requirements
- Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse licensure is required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work within the scope of practice established by the applicable state Nurse Practice Act.
