Foundational Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA, United States

Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate core APIs, LLM-powered workflows, and web scraping systems.
• Architect and maintain production-grade systems capable of handling millions of API requests.
• Own projects end-to-end from problem definition through deployment.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership on technical decisions and architectural direction.
• Contribute across the stack, including internal tooling and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Linux servers in production.
• Experience with agent orchestration, LLMs, or web scraping.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), and microservices.
• Must be currently based in San Francisco.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
