Industrial HVAC Maintenance Technician 1st Shift M-F 6am to 2pm Sign In Bonus! (P)

Location: Gibsonton, Florida, United States; office/site only. First shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain large rooftop HVAC units, including compressors, economizers, variable-frequency drives, and control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chilled-water systems, chillers, pumps, air handlers, coils, valves, and related components.
• Test HVAC system performance with gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools.
• Recover and charge refrigerant, detect leaks, maintain compliance records, and keep accurate maintenance documentation.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules for rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, and mechanical equipment.
• Identify potential failures and recommend corrective actions or capital improvements.

Requirements

• At least five years of hands-on commercial or industrial HVAC experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and experience troubleshooting with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with humidity and temperature controls, CMMS platforms, and digital maintenance tools.
• Ability to lead root-cause improvement processes and complete corrective action items.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization; work with export-controlled technology requires any applicable export license.
