2027 Business Analytics Consulting Intern

Location: United States, with compensation applicable across offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts. The role follows a principally in-person model and may require local, national, and occasional international travel.

Salary: $33.00–$36.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Meet with clients to understand business issues and develop data-driven solutions.
• Validate data integrity and help clients build confidence in decision-making information.
• Apply data integration and business intelligence best practices using common consulting tools.
• Synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations in a business context.
• Deliver solutions as part of cross-functional engagement teams.
• Travel locally, nationally, and occasionally internationally as required.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business analytics, data science, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, analytical, and detail-orientation skills.
• Interest in cloud technologies and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
• General database knowledge; strong SQL skills are preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization, reporting platforms, data integration, database architecture, data quality, or MDM solutions.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Informatica, Alteryx, SSIS, or comparable tools.
• Education or experience with Python, PowerShell, Java, or XML.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English candidates may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
