Senior Vice President, Sponsor Finance

Location: Denver, CO, United States; up to 50% travel may be required.

Salary: $182,000–$220,000 per year for new hires in Denver, plus potential annual bonus, incentives, and restricted stock.

What you will do

• Identify target markets, solicit new business, and build a new book of sponsor finance relationships.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex commercial loans in line with lending policies.
• Develop business checking, deposit, treasury, and other banking relationships and recommend suitable product solutions.
• Assess applicants, analyze financial condition and financing risk, gather documentation, and present requests to senior management or the Loan Committee.
• Coordinate approved loan processing and servicing, resolve portfolio issues, and ensure customer and policy requirements are met.
• Represent the bank in customer, community, civic, and community reinvestment activities while monitoring financial industry trends.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposits, loan administration, treasury management, and commercial banking products.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance requirements, industry standards, and banking practices.
• Advanced relationship management, organizational, time management, speaking, and writing skills.
• Availability for up to 50% travel.
