2027 Early Careers: Analyst, Underwriting – United States, Multiple Locations

Location: New York, United States; in-person work in the office at least four days per week

Base salary: $62,550–$83,400 per year for applicants in Colorado, Jersey City, and New York City.

What you will do

• Evaluate and analyze risks to support coverage, terms, and pricing decisions.
• Review underwriting submissions, financial information, loss history, exposure data, and related materials.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, renewals, and other underwriting documentation.
• Build relationships with brokers, clients, and internal business partners.
• Apply underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, and risk selection strategies while supporting portfolio management.
• Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Risk Engineering, Analytics, and experienced underwriting professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree expected by June 2027; an unofficial transcript is required with the application.
• Availability to start the program on July 26, 2027.
• Ability to work in the office at least four days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
