TL;DR
Organizational Design Consultant (Healthcare): Leading organizational effectiveness initiatives and developing organizational design solutions for divisions and departments with an accent on strategy, structure, staffing, and transformation. Focus on diagnosing current states, designing future-state operating models, facilitating implementation, and measuring organizational design outcomes.
Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Base pay: $84,400–$152,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do
- Lead moderately complex strategic Organizational Effectiveness initiatives and programs through organizational design interventions.
- Partner with senior organizational design resources on large and complex initiatives.
- Provide consultative oversight for organizational design projects in partnership with HR business partners and department leaders.
- Evaluate current organizational states and identify design needs supporting strategy, structure, staffing, and transformation.
- Develop future-state approaches, organizational design options, and implementation plans.
- Support methodology rollout and measure the effectiveness of organizational design results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of consulting experience in organizational design, operating model design, process design, process re-engineering, capability mapping and design, project management, or human resources.
- Experience in program design, needs assessment, performance measurement, and evaluation.
- Project management, analytical, consultative, negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience collaborating in diverse work groups.
- Sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- Organizational design certification.
- Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
- Experience delivering complex organizational design projects end to end.
