2026 Trust Advisor Intern (Finance)

Location: Position locations covered by the compensation information are Colorado, Illinois, or Massachusetts. The role follows a principally in-person Workplace for Your Day model with flexibility determined with the supervisor and team. Some local, national, and occasional international travel may be required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, except qualified bilingual candidates in Japanese and English or Chinese and English.

Salary: $36.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Learn the process of trust administration and work with revocable, irrevocable, grantor, charitable, and life insurance trusts.
• Develop practical knowledge of fiduciary accounting and trust accounting systems.
• Facilitate account opening and closing processes.
• Perform and monitor daily trust administration for a Trust Officer’s book of business.
• Prepare receipts and disbursements and research trust terms and governing documents.
• Assist with estate settlement and contribute to team projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Agreement to work toward obtaining the CTFA designation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required, subject to the stated bilingual exception.
• The position is non-exempt and may require more than 40 hours per week and occasional travel.

Nice to have

• Experience at a brokerage, financial planning, or money management firm.
• Currently pursuing a JD.
