C++ Gameplay Programmer

Location: Remote, flexible schedule

What you will do

• Develop gameplay logic elements and large game systems architecture.
• Write clean, maintainable, cross-platform C++ code.
• Optimize and improve existing systems.
• Collaborate proactively with designers, artists, animators, and other specialists.
• Apply analytical and critical thinking to solve complex tasks.
• Share knowledge and grow professionally within the team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial C++ programming experience
• Advanced knowledge of modern C++, algorithms, data structures, STL, OOP, and design patterns.
• Skills in profiling, debugging, and optimization.
• English proficiency for reading technical documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Higher education in software development or related field.
• Experience with scripting languages (Lua, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with game engines and cross-platform development.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Understanding of related areas like game design, art, animation, and test automation.
