What you will do
- Profile, diagnose, and resolve CPU, GPU, and memory bottlenecks.
- Adapt assets and content to meet Switch 2 platform constraints.
- Improve tools, asset pipelines, and optimization processes in a proprietary engine.
- Define and implement best practices for LODs, textures, materials, and draw-call efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with art and engineering teams to maintain visual quality while achieving performance targets.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years as a Technical Artist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of real-time rendering and game optimization.
- Experience optimizing constrained or handheld platforms (e.g., Switch, mobile).
- Comfortable working with custom/proprietary engines and evolving pipelines.
- Technical proficiency in shader development, profiling tools, and scripting (Python, C#, or C++).

- Experience shipping titles on Nintendo platforms or similar hardware.
