What you will do

• Partner with teams across Player Platform to solve challenging technical problems.
• Design, build, and operate microservices for managing virtual assets and progression systems.
• Design, prototype, build, and ship new features.
• Ensure the team is constantly executing with excellence.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for live product and customer support.
• Work with technical and non-technical customers to understand requirements and design solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant professional experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on programming experience.
• Willingness and desire to learn how to build and operate highly scalable services in Java, Kotlin, and/or GoLang.
• Familiarity with distributed system architectures and with maintaining large scale cloud services.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Java-based services.
• Experience with storage technologies such as MySQL, Amazon Aurora.
• Understanding of networking (HTTP, TCP/IP, routing).
• Familiarity with Cloud Platform providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
