TL;DR

Location: Hybrid: requires at least two days per week, or 40% of time, at the Watford office. During the training period, new starters are asked to be in the office more until fully trained.

Salary: £38,295–£44,341

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize code for products, ensuring quality standards and customer expectations are met.
• Develop technical knowledge, understanding, workplace skills, and required behaviours.
• Contribute to story refinement and estimation sessions, and attend agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with business members to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
• Implement libraries and tooling to support products and update technical documentation.
• Produce good quality, well-structured code.

Requirements

• Carry out routine customer needs support tasks and implement improvements following established procedures.
• Work effectively within current IT Security processes, systems, and procedures.
• Support others by performing prescribed product development/engineering activities.
• Gather, monitor, and analyze risk data using established models and protocols.
• Follow existing procedures and precedents for routine functional enquiries.
• Develop testing standards and procedures following general directions from professional staff.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, automated unit/integration testing, and Git.
