Head of Research (ML) | Full-time | Remote
AIP Tech is an independent algorithmic trading firm founded in 2018, specializing in high-frequency trading and advanced technology. We combine quantitative research, data science, and engineering to design efficient trading algorithms and provide liquidity to the market. Our culture is collaborative, peer-to-peer, and free of unnecessary bureaucracy.
Role & Impact
• Lead and mentor a team of ML researchers
• Define and drive the R&D strategy
• Conduct deep market and data research
• Collaborate closely with trading and engineering teams
• Contribute hands-on to ML algorithm development and live trading implementation
Who we are looking for
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Proven experience leading and mentoring research teams
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in HFT or algorithmic trading is a strong plus
Background in Physics or Mathematics, knowledge of econometrics and financial mathematics, and real trading experience are highly valued.
