What you will do

• Set realistic production goals with associate producers and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with the Technical Director, Architect, and Project Managers for departmental alignment on project goals.
• Discuss upcoming features and technical feasibility with Game Directors and Lead Designers.
• Work with QC leads in Montreal and Bucharest to maintain high build quality.
• Identify staffing needs for core Gameplay, AI, and UI programming teams and manage recruitment or reallocation.
• Promote technical excellence and innovation by leading and overseeing programming team leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Over 10 years of programming experience (C# / C++).
• At least five years managing a video game programming team.
• Experience shipping at least one full game.
• Deep understanding of video game production (animation, audio, 3D, gameplay, AI) and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent mastery of programming principles and best practices.
• Strong leadership, team spirit, and effective communication skills.
• Empathetic approach to stress management in a fast-paced environment.
• Open, innovative mindset with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Teaching mindset and desire to share technical expertise.
