What you will do

• Be the visionary owner for maintaining and scaling single-tenant environments in Google Government Cloud and Azure, with potential expansion to AWS.
• Abstract and automate differences between various cloud environments to reduce cognitive load for developers.
• Develop robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and shared libraries that benefit all environments.
• Collaborate with the Cloud Platform team to make software effortless to build, deploy, and manage.

Requirements

• Experience with a public cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong automation and scripting skills.
• Experience with Terraform (or another IaC technology).
• Experience building and maintaining containerized applications.
• Proficiency with Linux and command line tools.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in close collaboration with immediate team.
• Ability to embed with and support cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working with the US Government (DoD specifically).
• GCP specific experience.
• Proficiency with Python.
