Information Security Analyst

TL;DR

Information Security Analyst: Shaping and maintaining a robust information security program with an accent on identifying and remediating security issues, promoting awareness, and ensuring compliance. Location: Hybrid role based in Boston, MA or Houston, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Candidates must have US work authorization.

Salary: $107,000–$125,000 USD

What you will do

• Shape and maintain a robust information security program.
• Identify and remediate security issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Promote security awareness and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Manage security alerts, vulnerabilities, incident response, and risk assessments.
• Continuously improve security practices and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years of experience in information security, with a focus on IT and product security.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with application security and vulnerability management practices.
• Knowledge of security/compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC, PCI, HIPAA.
• Understanding of privacy frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, CPRA.

Nice to have

• SaaS industry experience.
• CISSP or other security certifications.
