TL;DR

IT Platform/Cloud Engineer (AWS): Designing, deploying, and managing robust infrastructure solutions on AWS and Nutanix with an accent on high availability, scalability, and security. Focus on automating infrastructure deployment and management, optimizing cloud performance, and modernizing legacy systems.

Location: Hybrid: 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto, or Castelo Branco, Portugal.

What you will do

Design, deploy, and manage robust infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS and Nutanix.
Develop and implement automation workflows and configuration management scripts.
Modernize legacy systems for optimal cloud performance and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem.
Document configurations, standards, and best practices for consistency and compliance.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Specialist, or DevOps Engineer.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation).
Knowledge and experience with hybrid cloud services (AWS, Nutanix).
Familiarity with Git and managing CI/CD pipelines.
English: C1 fluency required.

Nice to have

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Linux system administration.
A proactive approach to exploring new technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions.
Spanish language skills.
