What you will do

• Perform a bottom-up review of the existing FCQA framework and recommend uplifts.
• Plan, execute, and monitor all phases of the Financial Crime Quality Assurance (FCQA) framework.
• Manage and perform second-line-of-defense FCC QA assessments, including control design and operational effectiveness testing.
• Oversee remediations and recommendation implementations, providing actionable feedback.
• Lead the planning and scoping of FCC QA reviews, utilizing advanced data analytics.
• Report identified control issues, manage remediation plans, and coordinate regulatory submissions.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience managing a team of FC Quality Assurance specialists.
• Extensive experience in Financial Crime Quality Assurance or Compliance testing within the finance industry, with specific knowledge of AML/CFT and Sanctions regulations.
• A strong grasp of control frameworks and the 3 Lines of Defense model, particularly the second line's role.
• Demonstrated experience with data-driven and/or AI tooling to leverage analytics for insights and coverage.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory concepts, analyze control data, and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to stakeholders.
