What you will do

• Deliver and own high-quality platform services that are reliable, scalable, and easy to consume, balancing delivery speed with long-term maintainability.
• Research and recommend frameworks and architectural/code design patterns.
• Elevate team standards through technical leadership, mentoring other engineers, and championing best practices.
• Drive operational excellence by advocating for resiliency and scalability, establishing SLAs, and guiding system design.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and reporting project status to leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Expert proficiency in Java and experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Java, Kotlin).
• Strong experience building distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
• US work authorization is required (E-Verify participant).
