Location: This position is based in Elsbethen, Austria, with a minimum salary determined by Austrian collective agreements.

Salary: €2,691 gross per month (minimum, market-oriented compensation is significantly higher).

What you will do

• Deliver Data Science projects for inventory optimisation, managing scoping, execution, quality assurance, and delivery.
• Drive innovation by proposing new ways to generate value for stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Support the Data Science Team with impact tracking, planning, training, and onboarding new colleagues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science.
• Masters or Doctorate in a relevant field (Mathematics, Operations Research, Science).
• Proficiency in at least one of R, Python, SQL, with a willingness to learn the others.
• Ability to prepare high-quality datasets and understand their implications for business problems.
• Theoretical and applied understanding of Statistics, Probability, and Machine Learning Algorithms.
• Applied understanding of modern computing tools (git, API calls, web crawling).
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
