What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services primarily in Python.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DocumentDB) databases, including performance tuning.
• Contribute to containerized, cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build simple frontend features using JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Next.js.
• Work in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment, sharing expertise and mentoring others.

Requirements

• Solid experience in full-stack development with a strong emphasis on Python for backend and data engineering.
• Proficiency in modern frontend development using React/Next.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with REST API development and designing/optimizing NoSQL and RDBMS databases.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development (Azure preferred).
• Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development, AI frameworks, and system integration with AI models.
• English B2 required for excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, globally distributed team environment.
• For Senior Candidates: Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and driving best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry.
• Prior experience in Investment products, Private Banking, Wealth, or Asset Management.
• Familiarity with geo-specific compliance requirements (GDPR, APAC regulations) and localization strategies.
