What you will do

• Apply advanced analytics to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of Financial Crime detection processes.
• Support new product launches, balancing robust fraud and financial crime controls with positive customer experience.
• Evaluate innovative or alternative products and tools with external vendors.
• Proactively champion the best use of AI to accelerate analytical output and integrate it into business solutions.
• Present and collaborate with a wide group of business stakeholders including Operations, Credit, Senior Management, and external partners.

Requirements

• Experience creating and optimising FinCrime detection rules and reports, ideally then building models.
• Highly analytical and comfortable conducting complex analysis using SQL and Python.
• Exceptional detail-oriented, problem-solving skills and a 'can do' attitude.
• Excellent collaboration skills and a natural team player.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to various stakeholders.
• 2.1 or above at degree level, preferably in Economics or a STEM subject.
