What you will do

• Construct product infrastructure with interfaces to customize and optimize generative AI models.
• Design scalable API abstractions for the conversation platform, supporting popular chat clients.
• Optimize the dialog engine to accommodate conversational features, domain knowledge, and multilingual translation.
• Champion coding patterns, API design, scalability, robustness, and optimization.
• Provide insights into the performance of the conversational AI product via logging, tracing, and metrics.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, application engineers, product teams, and customer support teams.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in computer science and software engineering with expertise in building scalable systems.
• Deep understanding of clean, modular, and scalable API design.
• Passion for optimizing systems and improving performance.
• Ability to independently research new requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field, and 2+ years of professional development experience in building systems at scale.
