What you will do

• Take ownership of iOS architecture, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
• Lead the design and development of new features across the hirify.global app ecosystem, delivering high-quality, user-focused experiences.
• Mentor and coach mid-level and junior engineers, helping the team grow their technical skills and adopt best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to shape product strategy and influence technical trade-offs.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to maintain a cutting-edge iOS platform.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews, automated testing, and adherence to engineering standards.

Requirements

• A proactive engineer who thrives in fast-moving, high-impact environments and takes ownership from conception to delivery.
• A track record of delivering production-grade iOS apps, ideally with experience in scaling apps and handling complex architectures.
• Strong experience with Swift and the iOS ecosystem, including frameworks, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• A proactive approach and knowledge of best practices in code, testing, and app performance, with a strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience mentoring, knowledge sharing, and helping shape the team’s engineering culture.
• A passion about building products that meaningfully improve people’s lives through digital health.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and app deployment to the App Store.
• Knowledge of cross-platform considerations (e.g., SwiftUI, Combine) or integrations with back-end services.
• Experience contributing to product strategy or technical roadmaps at a team or company level.
