What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to review system designs and source code, identifying security and architectural risks.
• Lead threat modeling, secure design, and architecture review sessions.
• Drive and evolve the Security Champions program to promote shared ownership of secure development practices.
• Define and guide security initiatives from proof of concept through production readiness.
• Monitor emerging threats, regulatory changes, and compliance frameworks.
• Serve as a security point of contact for customers and document security architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 2+ years in security architecture or offensive security roles.
• Strong understanding of application security principles, including authentication, authorization, cryptography, and secure communications.
• Experience applying security frameworks and methodologies such as OWASP, NIST, BSIMM, STRIDE, or DREAD.
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management technologies (OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC).
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C++, Python, Ruby).
• Strong experience securing AWS cloud environments and familiarity with modern delivery technologies like CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows security, and strong networking fundamentals.
• Experience with penetration testing practices and common security tools.
