hirify.global is a Hamburg-based studio bringing new and exciting games to the market, with its successful Sunshine Island team looking for a Senior Economy Designer.

What you will do

• Own the game economy for live titles, monitoring resource economy and identifying areas for improvement.
• Model and simulate economic flows to predict player behavior and identify balance issues.
• Develop and implement monetization systems to enhance player satisfaction and support revenue goals.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and design teams to align economy design with strategy.
• Create and manage A/B testing plans for progression pacing, event rewards, and pricing strategies.
• Establish best practices and documentation for economy tracking and balance tuning.
• Stay ahead of F2P trends by benchmarking against successful farming, simulation, and mid-core management titles.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in F2P games or working on at least 1 shipped/successful live title in monetization design roles.
• Deep understanding of LiveOps game dynamics, including monetization strategies, in-game economies, and community feedback.
• Ability to take ownership and get things done, including hands-on work with Google Sheets, ChatGPT or similar.
• Resilient, detail-oriented team player, passionate about enhancing performance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
