What you will do

• Build immersive and cohesive environments from proxy to polish, always aligned with project goals.
• Balance artistic vision with gameplay functionality, considering both player experience and engine constraints.
• Collaborate closely with art, design, and production teams to ensure seamless style and functionality.
• Take direction, implement feedback quickly and effectively, ensuring work matches the overall project vision.
• Accurately estimate tasks and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Communicate progress clearly across disciplines and contribute to a collaborative, solution-focused culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in game development for a mid-level role, or 5+ years for senior-level.
• A strong portfolio showcasing atmospheric environments that incorporate thoughtful storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools: Unreal Engine, Photoshop, ZBrush, Substance, and 3ds Max.
• Solid grasp of artistic principles (composition, color, shape language, lighting).
• Skilled at managing asset budgets and workflows efficiently.
• Experience shipping at least one AA/AAA title.

Nice to have

• Expertise in procedural workflows, technical art, or tools pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Substance Designer or material authoring pipelines.
• Passion for mentoring and helping junior artists grow.
• Cross-disciplinary flexibility: able to jump between worldbuilding, asset creation, and technical problem solving.
