Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Remote within Europe (Spain, Italy, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany) or hybrid work setup in offices in Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Valencia, Brussels, Hamburg.

What you will do

• Improve service lifecycle security, adding necessary layers before final deployment.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain security posture services and tools, including on-call rotation.
• Implement a mostly-automated approach using infrastructure as code.
• Actively collaborate with development teams for "security by design" during the SDLC.
• Monitor, track, and report security and compliance metrics and KPIs.
• Drive and orchestrate security awareness programs across the company.

Requirements

• Experience in software design and architecture for distributed systems (TypeScript, NodeJS, Go).
• Experience working in a DevOps environment.
• Experience in automation development and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficient in Google Cloud and container-based technologies.
• Experience working and integrating security tools in GCP, including SAST, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM tools.
• Experience defining and implementing cloud security strategy.
• Good verbal and communication skills, able to explain effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with and implementing GRC tooling.
