Collections Specialist (Finance)

What you will do

• Apply daily incoming payments accurately to customer accounts and invoices.
• Reconcile AR accounts; resolve discrepancies, credit balances, and unknown payments.
• Investigate and clear unapplied cash in coordination with internal teams and customers.
• Build strong relationships with your portfolio clients.
• Assist with collections follow-ups on past-due accounts.
• Prepare AR, cash application, and collections reports.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in AR, Collections and cash application.
• Strong knowledge of cash application and account reconciliation.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficient in Excel and AR reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems and collections tools like Netsuite, Xero, Juno, and ticketing systems.
• Experience working in fast-paced collections environments.
