What you will do

• Define and communicate a clear technical vision for the engineering function, aligning with organizational goals.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing mentorship and technical oversight.

• Drive the design of complex, customer-facing web services using Java or Python.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in the IT industry.
• Expert-level understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and SOLID design principles.
• Proven track record and knowledge about REST APIs, API performance/scaling, and best practices.
• Practical experience with ETL/ELT processes and rolling out solutions with integrated ML.
• Familiarity with AWS environments and working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on exposure and solid understanding of different storage engines (SQL, NoSQL, Search Engines).
• Ability to see the "big picture" and align team deliverables with the business roadmap.
• Proven ability to grow the technical and professional skills of mid-level and senior engineers.
