Commercial Operations Lead (Ecommerce)

TL;DR

Commercial Operations Lead (Ecommerce): Leading and optimizing hirify.global's commercial execution layer by managing two teams, Print Professionals/Advisors and Commercial Outreach & Activation, to handle complex customer requests, drive activation, and conversion. Accent on process improvement, automation, and performance discipline to maximize impact, efficiency, and scalability. Focus on defining and owning key performance indicators (conversion, revenue, margin, productivity), coaching team members, and redesigning commercial processes to ensure continuous growth.

Location: Onsite in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with a regular presence in both offices. Work authorization for the Netherlands is required.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a combined team of currently ~11 FTE, with clear growth potential.
• Translate commercial goals into clear, practical daily execution for the teams.
• Define and own KPIs such as conversion from contact to order, revenue, margin influenced, and activation rates.
• Actively manage team performance through weekly reviews, clear targets, and direct feedback.
• Analyse where work is manual, repetitive or inefficient, and systematically remove or automate it.
• Work closely with Product, Tech, and CX teams to standardize requests and push learnings back into the platform.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in commercial operations, revenue operations, CX optimization, sales enablement or a similar execution-heavy role.
• Experience leading small to mid-sized teams (5–15 FTE) and comfortable being very close to the work.
• Strong intuition for process efficiency; able to quickly identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Comfortable with data and KPIs, connecting numbers back to real behavior.
• High level of proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written, is required.
• Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from the hirify.global HQ in Rotterdam.
