What you will do

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams to triage and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Diagnose and remediate systemic operational inefficiencies to improve system stability and performance.
• Empower team members through technical mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Spearhead the research and development of Proof of Concepts (POCs) for cutting-edge technologies and emerging frameworks.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
• Rapidly assimilate hirify.global-specific domain expertise to drive context-aware technical decisions and business value.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of post-college experience in API development with Data Science or AI Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in API development.
• Experience in Python and related API / DS frameworks.
• Experience with data science / AI Engineering.
• Skills to transform data, prepare it for analysis, and analyze it – including structured and unstructured data.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience working with data platforms – building and maintaining ETL flows and data stores for ML and reporting applications.
• Experience on Sagemaker / Sagemaker pipelines / Sagemaker Notebooks.
• Experience with performance tuning APIs and batch jobs.
• Experience with DevOps frameworks and tools like terraform.
• Experience / fair understanding of web applications development frameworks and tools.
