What you will do

• Define UX/UI design best practices for Power BI, focusing on pivot tables, table layouts, conditional formatting, typography, and color usage.
• Design smart layouts for multi-functional and highly dynamic chart types, with a focus on time-series visualizations.
• Establish standardized color palettes and reusable Power BI templates, including light and dark mode, to ensure a consistent look and feel.
• Review and refine existing Word-based documentation templates for end-user semantic model documentation stored in SharePoint or Power BI.
• Improve and standardize existing Confluence-style documentation to create a clear, clean, and scalable structure for future content creation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align UX standards with business requirements and Power Platform technical constraints.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with hands-on Power BI design experience.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Apps.
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and usability principles for data-intensive analytical interfaces.
• Experience creating wireframes, UX standards, and reusable design templates.
• Ability to design within the technical limitations of Power BI visuals and layouts.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience designing UX for enterprise analytics or BI platforms.
• Familiarity with semantic models and data modeling concepts.
• Experience working with Confluence and SharePoint-based documentation.
• Background in design systems or component libraries.
• Experience collaborating with BI developers, analysts, or data engineers.
