What you will do

• Lead technical direction for checkout and payment user experience across web and multiplatform environments.
• Act as the technical reference for frontend architecture, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
• Combine technical leadership with hands-on contributions, including UI architecture decisions and performance optimization.
• Partner with Backend, Product, Design, and Payments teams to align technical execution.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to architectural discussions involving frontend–backend communication, APIs, and payment integrations.

Requirements

• English: Fluency required.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams for 3+ years.
• Strong ability to drive technical decision-making, coach engineers, and manage changing priorities.
• Strong experience leading frontend or user-facing technical initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge of frontend development and UI architecture.
• Working knowledge of Kotlin, Go, and Node.js; experience with SDK.
