TL;DR

People Operations Apprentice: Ensuring the complete administrative management of employees, from onboarding to offboarding, and guaranteeing the reliability of HR data, with an accent on French labor law compliance and HRIS optimization. Focus on coordinating administrative actions, supporting monthly payroll processes, and assisting People Business Partners on critical employee matters.

Location: Hybrid in Paris Area, France. Role reports to the People Operations Manager France.

What you will do

  • Handle administrative management for new hires, including HRIS file creation and contract preparation.
  • Coordinate HR logistics with internal services like IT and Office Management.
  • Monitor and manage daily employee lifecycle events and provide HR administrative support via ticketing tools.
  • Actively participate in monthly payroll processes by collecting and verifying Variable Pay Elements.
  • Manage complete administration for employee terminations, including resignations and negotiated departures.
  • Contribute to HRIS administration and optimization (Workday), ensuring data quality and updating HR administrative procedures.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Master 1 (M1) or Master 2 (M2) in Human Resources, Labor Law, or Management.
  • Knowledge of and interest in French Labor Law and Personnel Administration.
  • Excellent proficiency with Excel.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of an HRIS (ideally Workday) is a significant asset.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential for the international environment.
