What you will do
- Establish and communicate a compelling product roadmap for sports media platforms across web, app, and social channels.
- Own and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, user needs, and revenue opportunities.
- Partner with key teams (Design & UX, Delivery, Digital Intelligence, Revenue Operations, SEO, Editorial) to gather insights and ensure high-quality execution.
- Lead the product development process by defining product goals, writing clear requirements, and managing the backlog daily.
- Analyze product performance using analytics, research, and experimentation to inform prioritization and continuous optimization.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams, creating clarity around expectations, milestones, risks, and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally within media, sports, sports betting, or other content-driven digital products.
- Passion for sports, staying updated with news, fan behaviour, and digital media consumption trends.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, thriving in environments with multiple teams and competing priorities.
- Understanding of how content, design, UX, tech, data, and SEO shape successful digital media products.
- Experience with JIRA and participation in delivery ceremonies like sprint planning and reviews.
- Ability to break down complex challenges into clear product initiatives and actionable steps.
- Comfortable interpreting data to make informed product decisions and discussing metrics, funnels, and KPIs.
